Cantius ralstoni
Taxonomy
Pelycodus ralstoni was named by Matthew (1915). Its type specimen is AM 16089, a maxilla (right maxilla with P4-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SC-40, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Cantius ralstoni by Gingerich and Haskin (1981).
