Protoselene ashtoni
Taxonomy
Protoselene ashtoni was named by Lofgren et al. (2014). Its type specimen is RAM 9047, a mandible (left dentary fragment with a partially erupted p4 and m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is RAM locality V200702, which is in a Tiffanian fluvial horizon in the Goler Formation of California.
