It was recombined as Oreinotherium bilobatum by Russell (1934) and Colbert (1935); it was recombined as Schizotherium bilobatum by Scott (1941); it was considered a nomen dubium by Skinner (1968), Storer and Bryant (1993) and Coombs (1998).
