Taxonomy
Epistroboceras kathleenae was named by Ramsbottom and Moore (1961). Its type specimen is BGS 87294, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality B9, stream southwest of Kiltyclogher, which is in a Brigantian marine shale in Ireland.
