Pengxianpus yulinensis

Taxonomy
Pengxianpus yulinensis was named by Wang et al. (2016). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is BMNHC Ph001373 (ZJ-A1), a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Wangzhuang Village tracksite, which is in a Jurassic terrestrial sandstone/sandstone in the Fuxian Formation of China.

B. Wang et al. 2016medium to large, bipedal, tridactyl track, footprint 24 cm long and 19 cm wide, longer than wide, pads clear, claw imprint faint, digit broad, the ratio of width to length of digits variable between 0.27 and 0.40, no hallux, no tail trace (Figs. 8, 9).
