Copedelphys titanelix
Taxonomy
Peratherium titanelix was named by Matthew (1903). Its type specimen is AMNH 9603, a mandible ( a lower law with P3 and m2.4 and alveoli of the remaining teeth except incisors), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pipestone Springs, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial claystone in the Renova Formation of Montana.
It was recombined as Copedelphys titanelix by Korth (1994) and Rothecker and Storer (1996).
