Taxonomy
Ficus microtrivia was named by Huang and Zhou (2018). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, DMS-4438, a leaf. Its type locality is Dashidong, Wenshan (mudstone unit), which is in a Miocene/Miocene lacustrine - large mudstone in the Huazhige Formation of China.
