Sequoia maguanensis

Taxonomy
Sequoia maguanensis was named by Zhang and Zhou (2015). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, DMS-0130 (shoot with cone attached). Its type locality is Maguan, which is in a Miocene lacustrine - large horizon in the Huazhige Formation of China.
