Taxonomy
Berhamniphyllum junrongiae was named by Zhou et al. (2020). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Paleoecology Collections, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, MK3-1491, a leaf. Its type locality is Kajun, Markam (bed MK3), which is in a Priabonian fluvial siltstone/mudstone in the Lawula Formation of China.
