Taxonomy
Sapindoxylon burmense was named by Licht et al. (2014). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris, MNHN.F.40107.L1/3, L2/3 & L3/3, a wood. Its type locality is Ganle kyitchaung, which is in a Bartonian fluvial-deltaic siliciclastic in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar.
