Schimoxylon benderi
Taxonomy
Schimoxylon benderi was named by Licht et al. (2014). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris, MNHN.F.40132.L1/3, L2/3 & L3/3, a wood. Its type locality is Paukkaung, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/siliciclastic in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar.
