Concentrilepis minnekahtaensis
Taxonomy
Concentrilepis minnekahtaensis was named by Stack and Gottfried (2022). Its type specimen is FMNH PF 3721, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is City Quarry, near Rapid City, which is in a Guadalupian peritidal lime mudstone in the Minnekahta Formation of South Dakota. It is the type species of Concentrilepis.
