Taxonomy
Dadoxylon parenchymosum was named by Surange and Maithy (1963). It is not extant. Its type locality is Kharkhari Colliery, Jharia Coalfield, which is in an Artinskian/Kungurian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in India.
It was recombined as Damudoxylon parenchymosum by Maheshwari (1972).
