Taxonomy
Dicotylophyllum mohgaonensis was named by Nambudiri (1966). It is not extant. Its type locality is Mohgaon Kalan, which is in a Paleogene lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India.
