Taxonomy
Myonia kutygini was named by Biakov (2022). Its type specimen is SVKNII 2/02-06.114, a valve, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Bed 6, outcrop 2i/78(00), Dulgalakh River above Khabakh River, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Orol Formation of the Russian Federation.
