Howqualepis youngorum
Taxonomy
Howqualepis youngorum was named by Choo (2009). Its type specimen is ANU V2929 a,b, a partial skeleton (incomplete opercular-gular series, cleithrum, clavicle, scales and all fins except the dorsal fin), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bunga Beach, which is in an Eifelian/Famennian lacustrine shale/sandstone in the Bunga Formation of Australia.
