D. H. Evans and A. H. King 2012Large (up to 1 m or longer), gradually expanding orthoconic longicones, with slight to distinct depressed section and straight, transverse sutures. Siphuncle ventral and wide, representing 30% to 50% of the diameter of the conch. Siphuncle wall holochoanitic or macrochoanitic. Apical end of endosiphuncle swollen, endosiphocone crescentic in section. One ventral crest present, with corresponding infula, typically widely arched.
