Proscalops evelynae

Taxonomy
Domninoides evelynae was named by Macdonald (1963). Its type specimen is SDSM 53381, a mandible (right posterior mandible with M2-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sharps (SDSM V-5354), which is in a Geringian terrestrial horizon in the Sharps Formation of South Dakota.

It was recombined as Proscalops evelynae by Hutchison (1968), Macdonald (1970), Hutchison (1972), Freeman (1979) and Barnosky (1981).
