Ectoconus symbolus

Taxonomy
Ectoconus symbolus was named by Gazin (1941). Its type specimen is USNM 16189, a maxilla (right maxillary portion with M1, M2 and part of P4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wagonroad Lower Horizon, which is in a Puercan terrestrial horizon in the North Horn Formation of Utah.
