Pentlandella merriami

Taxonomy
Pentlandella merriami was named by Sheehan (1982). Its type specimen is USNM 219690 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is High Lake Member, Great Basin, Southern Egan Range, which is in an Aeronian deep subtidal shelf dolomite in the Laketown Dolomite Formation of Nevada.
