It was recombined as Telmatotherium borealis by Osborn (1897); it was recombined as Telmatherium boreale by Hay (1902); it was recombined as Titanops borealis by Peterson (1914); it was recombined as Eotitanops borealis by Osborn (1907), Osborn (1908), Osborn (1913), Osborn (1929), Robinson (1966), West (1973), Mader (1989), Gunnell et al. (1992), Mader (1998), Gunnell and Yarborough (2000), Mihlbachler (2008) and Mader (2010).
It was recombined as Telmatotherium borealis by Osborn (1897); it was recombined as Telmatherium boreale by Hay (1902); it was recombined as Titanops borealis by Peterson (1914); it was recombined as Eotitanops borealis by Osborn (1907), Osborn (1908), Osborn (1913), Osborn (1929), Robinson (1966), West (1973), Mader (1989), Gunnell et al.
