Taxonomy
Conollia sporranoides was named by Rahman et al. (2015). Its type specimen is GLAHM 131255/2 and is a mold. Its type locality is Dalfask Quarry, Girvan, which is in a Sandbian offshore siltstone/mudstone in the Balclatchie Formation of the United Kingdom.
