Taxonomy
Eremotherium eomigrans was named by De Iuliis and Cartelle (1999). Its type specimen is UF 121738, a partial skeleton (partial articulated skeleton including right and left manu), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Haile 7C, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in Florida.
