Taxonomy
Rutaceoxylon mahurzarii was named by Chitaley and Khubalkar (1974). It is not extant. Its type locality is Mahurzari, which is in a Paleogene lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India. It is the type species of Rutaceoxylon.
