Taxonomy
Pararhiphaeoceras parvum was named by Shchedukhin (2022). Its type specimen is PIN 5668/5-8, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Shakhtau open pit, sample 5, which is in an Asselian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Shakhtau Reef Formation of the Russian Federation.
