Taxonomy
Auroralumina attenboroughii was named by Dunn et al. (2022). Its type specimen is GSM 106119 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed B surface, North Quarry, Charnwood Forest, which is in an Ediacaran marine mudstone in the Bradgate Formation of the United Kingdom.
