Kobayashiceras gifuense
Taxonomy
Kobayashiceras gifuense was named by Niko (1998). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UMUT PM 27286. Its type locality is FH-1, Ozako Valley, Fukuji area, Fukuji Formation, Gifu, which is in a Lochkovian transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Fukuji Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Kobayashiceras.
