Taxonomy
Shurabia taewani was named by Jouault et al. (2022). Its type specimen is GNUE112003, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Myungcheon-dong, Boryeong, which is in a Norian lacustrine shale in the Amisan Formation of South Korea.
