Florentiamys agnewi
Taxonomy
Florentiamys agnewi was named by Macdonald (1963). Its type specimen is SDSM 55120, a mandible (fragment of left ramus, with broken incisor, slightly worn p4-m1, and the alveoli for m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sharps (SDSM V-5360), which is in a Geringian terrestrial horizon in the Sharps Formation of South Dakota.
