Tuebingosaurus maierfritzorum
Taxonomy
Tuebingosaurus maierfritzorum was named by Regalado Fernández and Werneburg (2022). Its type specimen is GPIT-PV-30787 (=GPIT IV), a set of postcrania (complete pelvis (three sacral vertebrae, two ilia, two pubes, two ischia), five anterior caudal vertebrae, four chevrons, left femur, left tibia, left and right), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Trossingen - Obere Mühle (lower), which is in a Norian floodplain mudstone in the Löwenstein Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Tuebingosaurus.
