B. G. Baarli 2021 | Small to medium sized, biconvex and rather flat specimens with a fairly long hingeline. The shell is without strong fold or sulcus. Strong imbricated ribbing with lamellae drawn out in the troughs and strong concentric microfilae. Commissure rectimarginate to slightly sulcate. Pedicle callist missing, large apical foramen flanked by small delthidial plates. Short mediodorsally directed teeth with large dental cavities. Strong hinge pad and socket plates, thin crura and spiralia with fewer than eight whorls. |
