Cornuproetus latentissimus

Taxonomy
Cornuproetus latentissimus was named by Van Viersen and Prescher (2010) [= 2007 –– Cornuproetus cornutus n. ssp. 1 – van Viersen, pp. 21-22, pl. 2, figs 1, 3, 4.]. Its type specimen is IRSNB a12726, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Couvinoise quarry, which is in an Eifelian/Givetian marine limestone in the Hanonet Formation of Belgium.
