M. Basse and U. Lemke 2011Cyrtosymbolinae with following diagnostically relevant features: Preglabellar field rather long (sag.). Rostral plate expanded trigonal in outline. Anterior border furrow of cranidium weakly bent (tr.). Outline of glabella projectile-like, lateral margin slightly and regularly bent, opposite of γ not incised. Anterior branch of facial suture moderately strongly diverging forwards. β slightly outside projection of exsagittal tangent through distal point of ocular area. Teat-like palpebral lobes very short (tr.). ε far away from posterior border furrow. Portion ε/ζ sligthly diverging backwards, and longer than exsagittal line connecting γ and ε. Librigenal field very wide (tr.). Stout librigenal spine rather short. Pygidium semicircular in outline. Rachis with 7 to/ or 8 (9?) rings. Postrachial field very long (sag.).
