Perexigupyge chouteauensis
Taxonomy
Perexigupyge chouteauensis was named by Brezinski (2000). Its type specimen is CM 45121 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Warren, Marion County, Chouteau Group, Compton Limestone, which is in a Kinderhookian sand shoal grainstone/packstone in the Compton Limestone Formation of Missouri.
