Erdbachaspis aello

Taxonomy
Waribole (Waribole) aello was named by Hahn et al. (1998). Its type specimen is SMF5775, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Steeden, quarry at north-western margin of the town, which is in a Chadian carbonate limestone in the Erdbach Limestone Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Erdbachaspis aello by Müller and Hahn (2018).

Diagnose; Eine Art von Waribole (Waribole) mit folgen- den Besonderheiten-, Cranidium: Glabella subzylindrisch, bei 1 deutlich eingeschnûrt;hintere Glabella-Furchen(S1- 52) deutlich markiert, vordere Glabella-Furchen (S3-S4) schwach angedeutet. Prâglabellar-Bereich màBig lang (sag.), Stim-Saum gewulstet. Augen-Deckel mâBig lang, weit zur Seite ausladend.Hinter-Ast der Facial-Sutur mit kurzem geraden Abschnitt e-(. - Freiwange: Auge groR, Wangen-Stachelals kuze Spitze entwickelt. - Pygidium: UmriB halbkeis-fôrmig. Rhachis kurz und plump, mit 10 Ringen, Riachis-Leiste angedeutet.Pleural-Feldermit 3-5 erkennbaren Rippen-Paaren.Rand-Saum sehr breit, ohne Saum-Furche.- Skulptu: Schale mit sehr feinen, dicht stehendenHôckem besetzt.
