Menorcaspis calamicensis brevicauda was named by Gandl et al. (2015) [= cf. 1913 Phillipsia Bittneri. - PRUVOST, Papiol: 266, Taf. 8 Fig. 2 und 4 [non Fig. 1, non Fig. 3 ~ Drevermania (Pseudodrevermannia) manevilai, non Fig. 5 ~ Chlupacula (Avenconia) avenconis, non Fig. 6 ~ 7 Drevermannia (Pseudodrevermannia) pruvosli, non Fig. 7 ~ DI: (Ps.) pruvosli]. = cf. 1953 Drevermania (Drevermania) prauvosli. - Rod. & E. It was recombined as Menorcaspis brevicauda by Wagner (2020).
