Taxonomy
Cormopsocus neli was named by Hakim et al. (2021). Its type specimen is NIGP174914, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
