Archegonus (Geigibole) thomasi was named by Brauckmann (1973). Its type specimen is SMF 22733 (Panzer) and is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Pseudowaribole (Geigibole) thomasi by Brauckmann (1978); it was recombined as Geigibole thomasi by Müller and Hahn (2022).

Anterior section of fixigenes between β–β narrow. Palpebral lobes moderately long and narrow. δ located outside the longitudinal projection of β. Eyes large. Librigenal spines moderately long and very narrow. Pygdium strongly shortened with eight (?+) rings and four (+) weakly developed pairs of ribs. Pygidial axis wide with bluntly rounded terminal portion. |
