Taxonomy
Lelestrobus pennatus was named by Srivastava (1984). It is not extant. Its type locality is Nidhpuri, which is in a Wordian/Lopingian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Pali Formation of India. It is the type species of Lelestrobus.
