Fedorowski 2019Solitary, dissepimented rugose corals; axial septum invariably present early in ontogeny, commonly divides into cardinal and counter septa during maturity; counter septum commonly elongated, may form monoseptal pseudocolumella; axial structure weak and irregular; may disappear in advanced maturity; rare septal lamellae may occur early in ontogeny; axial column absent; sclerenchymal sheets, when present, not differentiated distinctly in thickness by quadrants; tabularium normal, disstabularium common.
