Taxonomy
Etheripecten stuflesseri was named by Prinoth and Posenato (2023). Its type specimen is MLCS1195, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is PR61, Preroman, which is in a Changhsingian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bellerophon Formation of Italy.
