Kaskia nosoniensis
Taxonomy
Griffithides nosoniensis was named by Wheeler (1937). Its type specimen is LSJU 778, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LSJU-1034, Potter Creek, which is in a Roadian/Wordian deep-water shale in the Nosoni Formation of California.
It was recombined as Kaskia nosoniensis by Lemke (2020).
