Herpetogaster collinsi
Taxonomy
Herpetogaster collinsi was named by Caron et al. (2010). Its type specimen is ROM 58051 and is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Walcott Quarry, Fossil Ridge, Greater Phyllopod Bed, which is in a Delamaran deep-water shale in the Burgess Shale Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Herpetogaster.
