S. Conway Morris 1993 | Bilaterally symmetrical foliate animal with blunt holdfast. Leaf elongate and flattened, with central broad axis. On one side branches arise on either side of axis, connected by narrow strands, possibly canals. Proximal branches elongate, recurved adapically towards leaf margins; distal branches more quadrate. Branches and other areas adjacent to axis papillate, possibly zooids. Opposite side of leaf bears longitudinal ridges. |
