Ignatiolambda barnesi
Taxonomy
Ignatiolambda barnesi was named by Simons (1960) [genotype]. Its type specimen is AMNH 55400, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mason Pocket, which is in a Tiffanian fissure fill shale in Colorado. It is the type species of Ignatiolambda.
It was synonymized subjectively with Haplolambda quinni by Gingerich and Childress (1983).
