Ectoganus lobdelli
Taxonomy
Psittacotherium lobdelli was named by Simpson (1929). Its type locality is Bear Creek, which is in a Clarkforkian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Montana.
It was recombined as Lampadophorus lobdelli by Patterson (1949) and Rose (1981); it was synonymized subjectively with Ectoganus gliriformis by Schoch (1981), Schoch (1986) and Lucas et al. (1998); it was recombined as Ectoganus gliriformis lobdelli by Schoch (1985); it was recombined as Ectoganus lobdelli by Gingerich (1989) and Rose et al. (2012).
