Diaphoromys gamayensis
Taxonomy
Diaphoromys gamayensis was named by Kraglievich (1931). Its type specimen is MACN-Pv 6742, a mandible (eft hemimandible with p4 and m1 and right dentary with m1-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Estación Gamay, which is in a Huayquerian terrestrial horizon in the Cerro Azul Formation of Argentina.
