Taxonomy
Gyriabrus holmbergi was named by Ameghino (1885) [Figures 3, 4 and 5a (Rasia et al. 2023)]. Its type specimen is MACN-A 5826, a set of teeth (isolated right lower incisor), and it is a 3D body fossil.
