Taxonomy
Yoderimys lustrorum was named by Wood (1974). Its type locality is Carnivore Den Near TMM 40203, which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial horizon in the Chambers Tuff Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Litoyoderimys lustrorum by Emry and Korth (1993).
