Taxonomy
Macrotarsius siegerti was named by Robinson (1968). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Badwater Locality 5A, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Wagon Bed ("Tepee Trail") Formation of Wyoming.
